Embark on a journey to the Whimsical world of Artist Giuliana Mottin for a one of a kind workshop learning how to use watercolor and pressed flowers. Giuliana will take you on a creative journey of how to make abstract shapes with watercolor, how to press flowers and how to apply them on to your art work. All materials included. Please bring a heavy book of choice to press your own flowers to take it home with you. Tea and light bites will be served. 

About the artist:
My new works are an ongoing study of life’s cycles through the lens of both nature and art. Pressed flowers, imbued with a sense of nostalgia, represents the impermanence and beauty found in the natural world. The watercolors behind them act as a symbolic backdrop, evoking the creative force that sustains all living things. These elements come together to weave a narrative about the enduring power of life. This always changing exploration has now evolved to different mediums such as tapestry, moss and other elements that I am using to raise the questions about the human connection with nature.”
