Fires Between The Veils

Join us in this curated ritual circle during this potent time of the year when the threshold between worlds are thin. The season of Samhain and Dia De Los Muertos provides us a unique opportunity to connect with our guides and ancestors and weave magic in collaboration with them. Facilitated by Arivind Abraham of Death and Eros, with support from Meredith Markworth-Pollack Founder of PALMA, this co-ed circle will use the instruments of attention, visualization, breath, movement, sound, and shamanic meditation to move into the underworld. We will create a communal Ofrenda, an altar honoring our loved ones who have passed. Please bring imagery or sentimental objects to represent the spirits of your ancestors.

Drawing upon his ongoing study of the Tibetan Buddhist traditions, his maternal line’s ancestral relationship with Kali Amman, and life lived across three continents, Arivind guides others through the Bardos of grief, death, and rebirth using ritual and embodiment practices. He brings a global perspective to his work, anchoring spiritual connections and teachings into the practical aspects of our relationships and our lives. Meredith will serve ceremonial Cacao to open our hearts and connect us deeper with the Spirit Worlds that surround us. We will use herbs to cleanse the body + spirit and guide us deeper into a place of receiving.
