The Consumption Cleanse is a 5-day experiential reset designed to support you in disentangling from the holiday season’s culture of excess—without shame, deprivation, or rigidity. This is a return from the holiday trance of over-doing and over-giving, back into your body, your truth, and your creative essence. It gently unwinds the programming that teaches us to override our knowing— to overcommit, overstimulate, overspend, overeat, and overextend.

Too much food.

Too much wine.

Too many parties, people, and presents.

Many of us enter January feeling somewhat disconnected from our bodies, our boundaries, and our creative center and with a quiet longing to come home to ourselves again—to feel clear, intentional, and creatively alive. This cleanse is that bridge. It offers a sacred pause from the shadow of the consumer so we can remember the soul of the creator— and begin to understand what within us seeks comfort, validation, numbing, or approval through consumption in the first place.

This cleanse helps you:

    •    Reconnect to your inner knowing

    •    Restore nervous system regulation

    •    Identify the emotional and unconscious drivers of consumption

    •    Shift from automatic over-doing into intentional creating

    •    Return to your truth with clarity and gentleness

This is not solely a food cleanse.

It’s a consciousness cleanse. Each day we work with a different part of the unconscious psyche - integrating the emotional drivers beneath consumption, and offering tools and practices that bring you back into connection with your body, your truth, and your creative essence.

Day 1 — The Awakening: From Trance to Choice

Theme: The automatic consumer state. We begin by bringing consciousness to the trance of consumption—how we override our knowing through autopilot behaviors, distraction, and “more.” We identify the difference between toxic consumption and aligned consumption and what each person uses to numb, fill, avoid, or cope.

Focus:  •    Awareness of unconscious patterns    •    Where choice has been replaced by compulsion  •    Meeting your current relationship with consumption without shame

Practice: Inner Family Systems Parts Meditation & Shaking Practice with Erica

Challenge: Remove one thing you toxically consume for 5 days.

Day 2 — The Inner Child: The Wound Beneath the Want

Theme: The unmet need driving the habit. We trace our consumption patterns back to the emotional wounds beneath them—longing, loneliness, hunger for love, safety, rest, validation. We integrate the inner child's desire to be heard so she starts to act from fullness instead of craving.

Focus: •    Attachment needs •    Emotional hunger vs physical hunger •    Compassion for the part that learned to reach outward instead of inward

Practice: Inner Child meditation  & Sound Bath

Challenge: Remove a second toxic consumption that creates a sense of soothing and safety.

Day 3 — The Nervous System: Regulation vs. Stimulation

Theme: Why we reach for “more” when the body feels unsafe. This day addresses how dysregulation fuels overconsumption and addictive tendency — of food, people, work, stimulation, scrolling, spending. We will also discuss dopamine build up in the brain and our desire for comfort over long-term fulfillment.

Focus: •    Fight/flight/freeze/fawn patterns •    Addiction to stimulation  •    Regulation through the body instead of through excess

Practice: Breathwork and Somatic Containment

Challenge: Dopamine Detox

Day 4 — The Shadow of the Consumer: Control, Avoidance & Identity

Theme: We meet the shadow expressions of the consumer: control, perfectionism, numbing, image management, external validation and will learn the tantric tools to return to sensation and presence instead of numbing. Once we feel, we can heal, transform, and create something new.

Focus: •    What identity is being protected •    Who we think we need to be to belong  •    Releasing the masks that keep us disconnected from our truth

Practice: Letting Go of Identity Meditation & Tantric Breathwork Practice

Challenge: Pleasure Practice

Day 5 — The Creator: Returning to Your Creative Life Force

Theme: From consumption to creation. We complete the journey by reconnecting participants to their creative essence—not productivity, but soul-expression, presence, and inner nourishment through tools from the Artist’s Way and additional embodiment practices.

Focus: •    What wants to be created through you •    What nourishes you without depletion •    How to live from inner fullness instead of external filling

Practice: Embodied Ecstatic Movement, Touch, Voice Expression

Challenge: Artist Date
