Honoring the turning wheel of the year through the folk traditions of wreath-making, plant medicine, and seasonal ritual. As we approach the Winter solstice, we gather to celebrate the turning wheel of the year and the wisdom of the season ahead. Winter invites us to slow down, draw inward, and remember that even in the darkest days, life is regenerating beneath the surface.

Join Kristen Caissie and Sarah Dolan, founders of Moon Canyon Healing and authors of The Seasonal Herbalist, for an intimate gathering celebrating the ritual, craft, and medicine of Winter.

Drawing upon the folk traditions of bringing evergreens into the home as symbols of enduring life, protection and renewal, we will gather to create wreaths of fragrant cedar, pine, spruce, and other plant talismans. As we work with these plants, we'll explore their folklore, sacred symbolism, and traditional medicinal uses, honoring the wisdom of the natural world and the old ways of celebrating the season’s turning.

We'll gather over medicinal mulled wine & cider inspired by The Seasonal Herbalist, sharing stories and seasonal teachings and celebrating the simple pleasures of crafting by hand, tending the hearth, and coming together in community.

You'll leave with:

- A handcrafted evergreen wreath, created with the guidance of floral designer and herbalist Kristen Caissie.
- An introduction to the folklore, traditional healing rituals, and seasonal wisdom of Winter's evergreen allies, shared by Kristen and Sarah Dolan, herbalist and bodyworker.
- A deeper appreciation for the practice of wintering and the medicine of Winter.
- Warmth and nourishment in body and spirit from the joy of gathering and creating in community
