A Day of Botanical Immersion, Embodied Descent + Deep Stillness

Co-facilitated by Eve Gaines, founder of RITUEL, and Meredith Markworth-Pollack, founder of PALMA Colectiva.

As we gather on November 7th we stand at the edge of the dark: the 7th holds the final night of the old moon, and the 8th is the New Moon ~ we are planting in fertile darkness. Astrologically, this is the most liminal passage of the month. The moon is resting in the deep water of Scorpio. It is a time designed for tending what lives beneath the surface. For allowing the old cycle to complete so the new one can root unseen. Scorpio is the season of the root, the shadow, and the sacred return. It teaches that nothing is lost ~ only composted, transformed, and made ready for rebirth. In this garden, we do not seek to become something new by rejecting what we were. We become by descending into the dark soil of what we have lived, and allowing it to feed what is emerging.

The day unfolds as one continuous garden ritual:

TENDING THE SOIL
We arrive through warm tea ceremony, sensory immersion with botanicals, and the softening of the body into water, scent, and touch. This opening clears the ground ~ releasing the residue of the previous cycle so the garden can receive what is next.

THE HARVEST
A feast for the senses and the soul.
We gather around what has ripened: the experiences that have shaped us, the wisdom we have earned, and the parts of ourselves now ready to be recognized. Through intimate circle, guided reflection, and journaling, each woman names what she is harvesting in this season of her life. For those who gathered with us in August, this is the deepening of the thread. For those arriving for the first time, this is your first gathering of gold.

We will also enjoy a beautiful seasonal meal together.

THE POLLINATION
As afternoon light begins to lean toward evening, we enter embodied movement ~ an expressive dance journey to shake loose what is ready to fall and awaken the wild, generative energy of the body. This is the pollination: the necessary disturbance before the seed. Movement as medicine. The body speaking its living prayer.

THE SEEDING
Then we will descend into stillness. Through breath, dreamwork, oracle, and ancestral connection, we enter the dark soil and listen for what is quietly asking to emerge. Each woman plants a seed of intention in composted earth ~ a living prayer for the truth she will tend through winter as it gathers strength for spring.

THE RETURN
Closing ceremony and integration. You emerge with your harvest object, your planted seed, and the memory of having moved, savored, and been held in the Inner Garden.

WHAT TO BRING
Please bring one small object representing what you are harvesting in this season of your life, something that carries the feeling of ripeness, completion, or gathered wisdom. You may also choose an object from the land after you arrive.
Wear comfortable, warm layers that allow you to move, rest, and dance.

PALMA classes are nonrefundable, however a credit can be issued toward another class if cancelled within 48 hours.
