ELEMENTAL ARCHETYPES

A three-day immersive retreat hosted by the Library of Esoterica in collaboration with Palma Colectiva, this gathering invites participants into a living exploration of the elemental archetypes; earth, air, water, fire, and spirit, as pathways to grounded transformation. Held at an expansive private property in Ojai, this intimate gathering of no more than 14 guests weaves together ritual practice, visual symbolism, somatic and creative exercises, and guided dialogue to illuminate how the elements shape both inner life and collective experience. Through workshops, shared ceremonies, and reflective sessions, participants will engage with ancient wisdom and contemporary tools designed to restore balance, deepen intuition, and awaken creative power.

Each day unfolds through a different elemental lens: earth for embodiment and stability, air for clarity and vision, water for emotional flow and renewal, fire for courage and transformation, and spirit as the integrating force that connects them all. The result is a holistic experience that bridges scholarship and practice, offering a return: to presence, to purpose, and to a more elemental way of being. We will start the day with a tea ceremony, followed by breakfast, movement, a morning workshop, 3 hours of free time with optional talks/ workshops, a group afternoon immersion, dinner, and an evening fireside chat moderated by Jess Hundley. 

The retreat includes luxury accommodations for 3 nights, 4 days, all meals by Path & Provisions, workshops and ceremonies (highlighted below), time for self care and grounding, conscious gifting, and the opportunity to book private one on one sessions as well as massages by Ojai Massage. There are a variety of room types to meet your budgetary needs, all rooms have been heavily discounted thanks to the generous donations of Belle Hahn and TASCHEN. 

Our activations include: 

• A channeled journey with AJA Daashur: a renowned trance medium, certified life coach, and past life regression integrator, dedicated to helping individuals access the wisdom of their Spirit Guides in a clear and therapeutic way. As the founder of Spirit House Collective, AJA has created an inclusive environment for healing, particularly within the BIPOC community, offering transformational retreats and spiritual guidance.
• Fire Ceremony with Micah Sheiner: an evening ritual of fire, sound and cacao that weaves together the rites of passage around fire and the alchemy of sacred sound. Micah Sheiner is a vibrational artist/healer. He travels extensively to learn from musical, spiritual, & healing traditions around the world. With inspiration from India, he has dedicated much of his path to the yoga of sound - relating with holistic resonance as a source of medicine, insight, & inspiration.
• Daily Tea sits with Mel Nahas: Like the tea leaf unfurling in water, the ritual of tea ceremony and the way of tea infinitely reveals layers of self, our connection to nature and others. Mel's conscious, creative and entrepreneurial spirit co-founded Conscious City Guide, produces Mercado Sagrado, and guided her to a life of translating between worlds — offering energetic recalibration sessions through the lens of Human Design, expanding and decoding the work of Matías De Stefano, and walking the sacred path of the leaf as a student of the Way of Tea. 
• Meeting Air Through Voice workshop with Rachel Kolar: Exploring how human sound moves and shapes air, working with breath becoming rhythm, vibration becoming tone, and tone becoming language. Through playful vocal patterns, group harmonies, and call-and-response, we experience how voices stack, swing, and shift a room, listening to how sound builds feeling, how words ride melody, and how collective voicing forms a shared piece of music in real time. Rachel is a ceremonial musician and facilitator working at the intersection of voice, ritual, and therapeutic practice, with training in psychology, anthropology, hermetic studies, and playwriting, and current divinity studies. Rachel directs Moon Valley Choir, a women’s choir in Ojai creating and performing ceremonial music and ritual theatre for communities, retreats, and end-of-life care.

• Earth Ritual with Kristen Cassie: an invitation to return the body to the living world. Guided by the rhythms of land, breath, and shared presence, this practice offers a slow descent into the body as earth—soil that remembers how to receive support, roots that know how to belong. Through grounding, sensory listening, gentle movement, and circle, participants are welcomed back into relationship with the more-than-human world and the ancient intelligence held within their own bodies.Kristen Caissie is an earth-centered ritual guide and herbalist devoted to restoring the body’s relationship with the living world. Rooted in somatic practice, plant wisdom, and land-based ritual, her work invites healing through relationship—with Earth, with plant kin, with one another, and with the deeper intelligence held within the body.
